Emerging Markets, Ltd. (EML) based in New York's historical financial district, executes spot foreign exchange transactions throughout the developing countries of the world. EML acts as a principal in spot forex transactions, intermediating between the buy and sell side of the forex market of each country, driving market efficiency, and adding economic value to client transactions.

Forex activity is largely driven by U.S. based clients, with operations in foreign countries. EML's clients are mostly U.S. Dollar sellers, buying local, foreign currencies to fund operations of foreign affiliates. EML sources all foreign currencies from regulated banking institutions, usually top-tier, in-country banks.
